Hannah became Head of Business Banking for Barclays UK in April 2020, leading a team of over 2,000 colleagues to provide support to one million small and medium enterprises (SMEs) businesses
throughout the pandemic (<£6.5m turnover or UK Real Estate/Agriculture <£25m). Hannah joined Barclays in 2015 as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Personal Banking before assuming a business role, running the Mortgages business for three years.
She has previously held a range of leadership roles at Sainsbury’s and Sainsbury’s Bank, spanning Finance, Buying, Marketing, Product and Customer Experience. She spent seven years on the Board of Sainsbury’s Bank. Hannah is a qualified Management Accountant and a Chartered Banker. Hannah is Chair of UK and Europe Citizenship Council and co-Executive Sponsor of UK and Europe Spectrum (Barclay’s LGBT+ ERG).
